Our very first featured author this year is Brenen. She is in third grade and has a sister in fourth grade. As you can see, excellent writing runs in the family.

Their mother works at a local college. She challenged her daughters with the same writing prompt she gave her college students. As you can see below, Brenen did a fantastic job explaining her life goals in this expository paper.

ReplyDeleteI enjoyed reading your writing. I`m intrigued by your interest in gems and rocks. Have you visited the new Perot Museum in Dallas? I had a chance to go there during Winter Break. It has an amazing collection of gems and the rocks they come from. It also has many interactive exhibits. In one area, I had the opportunity to experience what earthquakes of different intensities would feel like.
